SOURCE ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: 'Unassuming' is the best word to describe Koumei. He is quiet and polite regardless of the manner or relative social standing of the person standing before him, and he will treat everyone equally. ♚ FASHION: Comfort is what Koumei primarily seeks in all of his clothes, and he is notorious for not necessarily keeping his clothing finely pressed or undamaged. When left on his own, he is liable to choose vibrant colors or patterns regardless of whether it is in fashion or not, but he somehow manages to make it work. ♚ DEMEANOUR: There are moments when his politeness seems a bit contrived, and moments when it is amply clear that there are things that he is decidedly not saying and will refuse to offer clarification on. Despite his relative youth (28-30, depending on canonpoint), he carries himself in such a way that a well seasoned politician and soldier might. Also, there is an air of weariness about him at times, as if he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. ♚ AURAL: His voice is provided by Satoshi Hino in the Japanese version, and by Ethan Murray in the English dub. The unassuming air of his demeanor carries over in his voice as well, as he is quite plain spoken and puts on no airs for anyone. His voice veers on the higher end of the baritone range, and the omakes note that he is a fairly decent singer when he is given the opportunity. ♚ OLFACTORY: Dust, old documents, and pigeon feathers are dominant scents on his person. Mingled with that would be the variety of scents used in the methods of laundering clothes and perhaps incense lingering in the air, depending on where he has wandered that day. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: He has no telepathy, and no ability to shield himself against it. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Koumei himself has no magical capabilities of his own, and his energy stores are just enough that he is only able to support the powers of a single djinn at a time. The Djinn herself, Dantalion, may be a presence that could be detected if he is carrying around the feathered fan that serves as his Metal Vessel-- but, only then. Her magic is considered a subset of Light Magic, although her specialization is teleportation via portals. Despite not being a practitioner, Koumei has studied the science behind various magics. Whether this shows up or not to characters with the ability to sense magical influences can be left up to the player on an individual basis. ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: Always ♚ FOURTHWALLING: Please, no. Koumei would not appreciate it. However, noting his similarities to the historical figure, Zhuge Lian, might amuse him. ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go ahead and try. Koumei will tolerate most forms of physical affection, including excessive clinging, although he may politely turn the other party away if they try to offer a kiss. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go ahead. Koumei himself has little ability to retaliate unless he has his magical artifacts with him, but he may suspect such a thing as a possibility if it is something that will happen. As a tactician and general, he's more than well aware of how many are after his head. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: I'm down for shipping, but it will have to be something that the other party is willing to commit to a long narrative to. Unless he's in a memory loss situation, Koumei's perceptions of relationships are colored by his experiences as a prince and what he has witnessed within his own family.
